PSV defender Jeffrey Bruma has confirmed holding talks with Inter and plans to speak to Lazio’s Stefan de Vrij about life in Serie A.

Bruma has emerged as a top target for Inter, who are reportedly on the lookout for defensive reinforcements as Jeison Murillo’s future continues to be linked with a move away, and the Dutchman admitted he was curious to learn how the Nerazzurri “see me in their team for next season”.

“My conversation with Inter was about how they’d see me in their team for next season, how [Roberto] sees me,” he told Algemeen Dagblad.

“Conversely, I asked questions of my own just to get to know them a bit more and figure out what would be their intentions.

“Still, I haven’t decided where my future will be. The Premier League? It’s a very fascinating League, but I’m also thinking about the Bundesliga.

“I’d like to talk to [Lazio’s] Stefan de Vrij to gain a better understanding of his experience in Italy.

“It’s too bad that we couldn’t meet in the [latest] national team. It’s also possible for me to stay at PSV, and it wouldn’t be a punishment.

“By staying, I’d play in the Champions League and improve myself further, but I still have to decide what I’ll do next season.”
