Roma announced that CEO Italo Zanzi has resigned from the Board of Directors “to pursue other opportunities.”
Zanzi had been at the helm since 2013 and his resignation comes into effect from June 30.
“Three and a half years ago I had the honour of becoming CEO of AS Roma,” said Zanzi.
“Now, with the club well-positioned, I have made the decision to pursue new endeavors.
“I would like to thank AS Roma President Jim Pallotta for this opportunity, as well as our ownership team and Board of Directors for their support.
“I am especially appreciative of our management, staff and players for their dedication and hard work – they are among the very best in football.”
On behalf of AS Roma’s ownership, Mr Pallotta would like to thank Italo for his work in the interests of the Club, its shareholders and employees.
We would also like to wish Italo the very best for the future.
