Juventus look to sign Jonathan Ikone as a free agent, but it's unclear whether he has already renewed with Paris Saint-Germain or not.

The promising 18-year-old was targeted as a free agent, in a deal modelled after the free transfer of Kingsley Coman in 2014. Initial reports by French newspaper L'Equipe suggested that a deal with Juventus was already done and the player had signed a contract.

However, today's edition of L'Equipe backtracked and reported the opposite, claiming PSG had convinced him to stay and made him sign a new contract.

Ikone is now expected to stay with the Parisians, but the lack of any official confirmation by his home club, coupled with the previous retraction of the story by L'Equipe, make his case still uncertain and potentially open.
