Atletico Madrid are preparing a summer bid for Juventus striker Alvaro Morata, claims Spanish paper Marca.
The forward is at the centre of a huge transfer tug of war, as Real Madrid have a buy-back option worth €30m and plan to then sell him on for a profit.
While Arsenal and Chelsea have been mentioned as possible future destinations, he could remain in Madrid after all.
According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Atletico Madrid have set their sights on Morata to be their centre-forward.
He complained this week that he will only move to a club where he will get regular playing time.
Atleti are in the Champions League and would guarantee more space than across the city at Real.
