Antonio Conte is expected to use Stephan El Shaarawy, Antonio Candreva, Simone Zaza and Ciro Immobile against Finland.

Italy play their final pre-Euro 2016 friendly at the Stadio Bentegodi in Verona on Monday. It kicks off at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT).

Thiago Motta has now fully recovered from his calf problem and is likely to be in the starting XI, sharing the midfield with Alessandro Florenzi and Emanuele Giaccherini – who usually play in wider roles.

It’s a 3-5-2 system with the Juventus back line intact.

It’s a 3-5-2 system with the Juventus back line intact.

Candreva and El Shaarawy should take the wings, while Zaza and Torino’s Immobile are emerging as new favourites to start in attack.

This is not necessarily the line-up Conte has in mind for their Euro 2016 opener against Belgium on June 13, as Napoli striker Lorenzo Insigne is in with a chance there.

Today Sweden crushed Wales 3-0 in a friendly, as Emil Forsberg, Mikael Lustig and John Guidetti were on target.

Italy (predicted): Buffon; Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini; Candreva, Florenzi, Thiago Motta, Giaccherini, El Shaarawy; Zaza, Immobile
