Cagliari have secured Fenerbahce and Portugal centre-back Bruno Alves on a two-year contract.
The news was confirmed by Sky Sport Italia, who also had a picture of the player signing the deal.
It is believed to be a two-year contract with an option for the third.
He was a free agent, as his current deal with Fenerbahce expires on June 30.
The 34-year-old has played for Porto, Farense, Vitoria Guimaraes, AEK Athens and Zenit before joining Turkish side Fenerbahce in 2013.
Cagliari secured their promotion into Serie A by topping the Serie B table this season.
