Stefano Sturaro was “happy” at making his senior Italy debut against Finland. “We want to amaze everyone” at Euro 2016.
The Juventus midfielder came off the bench in tonight’s 2-0 friendly victory.
“I am happy, the team victory is the most important thing and my debut is a personal joy,” he told Rai Sport.
“I thank the Coach for this call-up. I will always train at 100 per cent and if needed I’ll try to give a hand.
“We are physically a little better than we were against Scotland, have worked hard over the last two weeks and still need to improve by playing together.
“We won’t set limits, as there’s no point talking about objectives now. All we can do is go out there and try to amaze everyone.”
