Coach Roberto Mancini says 'nobody told me anything' as Inter got sold in full to the Chinese group Suning.

The change of hands represent the first time that a Chinese group takes control of a club in Serie A, and many view this as a sign of great changes that are about to take place in football.

“I spoke with [President Erick] Thohir a few days ago and he explained to me what was happening,” Mancini told Radio Deejay. “But before that, no, nobody told me anything and I had no idea.

“People have been asking me about my future for weeks. Yes, I'm staying.

“I don't know anything about the club, I'll speak when things are clearer.”

Il Mancio was then asked about the role as Azzurri Coach, for which he had been linked before the confirmation of Torino's Giampiero Ventura, and the club's new signing Ever Banega.

“I was never close to becoming Italy's Coach. Banega has qualities that we were short of. It was an opportunity on the market.

“Until a few months ago we thought we'd only be able to sign free agents in order to respect the Financial Fair Play regulations. [Yaya] Toure? No, we haven't called each other.”
