Empoli confirm “negotiations are at an advanced stage” for Mario Rui to Roma, while “at least four or five clubs want Riccardo Saponara.”
Today Mario Rui’s agent claimed Empoli had accepted an offer from Roma, but President Fabrizio Corsi was more cautious.
“The negotiations are at an advanced stage and are continuing over the next few days, based on a loan with mandatory option to buy,” Corsi told Tuttomercatoweb.
“As for Saponara, at least four or five clubs are interested, but in some cases they still need to shake off the final doubts over who will be the Coach.
“There are no negotiations in process, but a lot of interest. I’d say Saponara is worth the same amount as Franco Vazquez, €25m, even though they have a different way of interpreting the role of trequartista.”
