Mario Rui has reportedly agreed a five-year contract with Roma, ahead of his move from Empoli.

The full-back is believed to be close to the Giallorossi, who seem unlikely to sign Lucas Digne outright from Paris Saint-Germain.

The player and his agent were at Trigoria today for a meeting with sporting director Walter Sabatini, and Alfredo Pedulla is now reporting that a deal has been struck.

Rui is set to move on a €3m loan with a mandatory buyout clause of €6m at the end of the 2016/17 season.
