Sassuolo have a deal with Atletico Madrid to sell Sime Vrsaljko, but getting to Sampdoria's Lorenzo De Silvestri may be difficult.

The Neroverdi full-back was the object of several clubs' interest, including Napoli, but it seems certain now that he'll end up playing abroad.

The Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Sassuolo have a deal with the Colchoneros for a €16m sale, plus €2m in bonuses. Vrsaljko's agent will meet the Spanish club next week and formalise the sale.

The Italians are looking at two players for the full-back's replacement, Sampdoria's De Silvestri and Torino's Davide Zappacosta, with a view to signing both.

Matters may become convoluted though, as the Blucerchiato is also being targeted by Torino. If the Toro can sign the player, then they'll release Zappacosta for Sassuolo, otherwise they'll keep their full-back.

It thus seems unlikely that Coach Eusebio Di Francesco will have both players in his squad next season, but negotiations are still at an early stage and no doors have been closed yet.
