Alberto Paloschi has completed his transfer from Swansea City to Atalanta. “I am truly happy to play for my hometown club.”
The deal is believed to be worth €6m plus performance-related bonuses and is a return to Italy just six months after the move to Wales.
“I am truly very happy to finally wear the shirt of Atalanta, my hometown club,” he told reporters.
“I’m honoured by the interest that President Percassi and this club have shown in me, not just now. That is an extra reason, if it were needed, to do well.
“My effort will be, as always, total, as along with my teammates I’ll work to reach the best target possible.”
Paloschi grew up in the Milan youth academy and scored on his Serie A debut at the age of 18.
He went on to play for Parma, Genoa, Chievo and Swansea.
