Coach Antonio Conte is considering alternatives on Italy's right wing as Antonio Candreva's conditions remain dubious.

The Laziale is dealing with some pain in his adductor muscle in the right thigh. While he is certain to skip the meaningless game against the Republic of Ireland on Wednesday, June 22, it's uncertain if he'll be at his best condition in time for the Last 16 on June 27.

Candreva is an undoubted starter for Conte when fit, but the Gazzetta dello Sport reports that he will not be fielded if he isn't at 100 per cent.

The Coach is therefore testing a number of alternatives. Alessandro Florenzi and Matteo Darmian are the most likely players to take his place, with some slighter chances also for Fiorentina youngster Federico Bernardeschi.

Their work on the right wing is directly linked to what happens on the left wing, meaning that an attacking choice like Bernardeschi would probably imply using Darmian on the right, while a more aggressive left winger like Stephan El Shaarawy would rule out the use of Bernardeschi on the right.
