Italy full-back Matteo Darmian is apparently being worked on separately in training as his condition is lagging behind.

The 26-year-old started the first game against Belgium only to be replaced by Alessandro Florenzi against Sweden.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Darmian is among the Italy players in the poorest condition both physically and psychologically, as his self-esteem is not at the highest levels.

In order to resolve the situation, he is apparently being called up for separate meetings in training to bring him back to his best.
