The Azzurri play their last group game tomorrow at 20:00 UK time, although they are already automatically qualified as first-placed.

Today's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport confirms earlier reports that the Nazionale will be revolutionised with eight or nine new starters.

However, although many of the reserves are confirmed, Conte is apparently still doubtful on who to field between Fiorentina's Bernardeschi and Roma's El Shaarawy.

The two play on different flanks, so in theory they could both play, but Conte's idea of a balanced team includes one attacking-minded winger and one who is more defensive.

It follows that only one of them is likely to start against Ireland. Bernardeschi would take the role of undoubted regular Antonio Candreva on the right wing, while El Shaarawy plays on the much less stable left wing, where Matteo Darmian, Mattia De Sciglio and Alessandro Florenzi have alternated so far.
