Lazio's secretary general returned from Argentina today, allegedly with the signed contract of incoming Coach Marcelo Bielsa.

Multiple sources reported yesterday that the deal between the South American tactician and the Biancocelesti is done, and that the former will fly in to Italy to take charge of his team.

Secretary Armando Calveri landed in Rome today, and is believed to have taken a copy of the contract signed by Bielsa. The contract must now be counter-signed by Lazio president Claudio Lotito, after which the club is expected to release an official statement to introduce the new Coach.

“I can't tell you anything,” Calveri told LaLazioSiamoNoi.it at Fiumicino. “The president will shortly communicate what he has to.

“I don't think Bielsa needs any presentations, facts speak for him. No, I can't tell you whether anything will be announced within 24 hours, you can ask the president.”
