Cakir referee for Italy v Spain

The referee for Italy v Spain at Euro 2016 on Monday is Turkish official Cuneyt Cakir.

This Round of 16 clash kicks off at the Stade de France in Paris at 17.00 UK time (16.00 GMT).

The 39-year-old has officiated many top games, including the Champions League Final that Juventus lost to Barcelona in 2015.

In 2013 he hit the headlines with a controversial red card for Manchester United’s Nani against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Cakir will be joined by assistant referees Bahattin Duran and Tarik Ongun.

The additional assistant referees are Huseyin Gocek and Baris Simsek.

The Fourth Official is England’s Martin Atkinson.
