Roma's Adem Ljajic has reportedly turned down Torino's transfer offer in spite of Sinisa Mihajlovic's insistence.

The 24-year-old spent the last season on loan to Inter, and is now looking for greener pastures.

With the player's contract due to end in summer of next year, Roma need to sell him quickly or risk losing him as a free agent.

Torino seemed very interested in picking up the striker, but according to Tuttosport, Ljajic turned down their offer of €1.3m per season.

He has also turned down Roma's own offers for a contract renewal.

Right now the only hope seems to be Mihajlovic, who picked up the reins of the Granata this year.

The Coach knows Ljajic in person and has already spoken with him on several occasions. He will contact him again and try to persuade him to accept an offer.
