Germany Coach Joachim Löw said the quarter-final with Italy is “between the two teams who played the best football at Euro 2016.”

The World Cup winners swept Slovakia aside 3-0, while the Azzurri beat reigning European Champions Spain 2-0 today.

They go head-to-head in Bordeaux on Saturday July 2.

“This quarter-final is between the two teams who played the best football at Euro 2016 so far,” Löw told German television.
