Ferrari Formula 1 driver Sebastian Vettel turned down the gift of an Italy jersey, assuring they’d “need it to dry your tears on.”
The German motorsports star is a keen football fan and will no doubt be sitting down to watch tonight’s Euro 2016 quarter-final.
Sky Sport Italia accosted Vettel today after qualifying in the Austria GP and offered him an Azzurri shirt.
He turned it down and said: “You’d better keep it, you’ll need it to dry your tears on later.”
