Brazilian trequartista Joao Pedro has officially extended his Cagliari contract to June 2020.
He helped the Sardinians to promotion this summer as Serie B title winners, scoring 13 goals in 38 games.
Able to play behind the forwards or in a more attacking role, he also provided seven assists.
The 24-year-old has been at Cagliari since September 2014.
Before then he had spells at Atletico Mineiro, Palermo, Vitoria Guimaraes, Penarol, Santos and Estoril.
