Alberto Gilardino is still cold about leaving Palermo for Empoli: 'I had no concrete relationship with the president'.

“It's important for me to highlight that I'm leaving an environment in which myself and my family lived wonderfully,” he said.

“It's important for me to highlight that I'm leaving an environment in which myself and my family lived wonderfully,” he said.

“I read some false statements about the way that my farewells developed, and about the situation regarding my contract renewal.

“I was never argumentative over the course of the difficult season we went through and I demand respect.

“President [Maurizio] Zamparini? I never had a concrete relationship with him, although I always respected him as a man and as a president.
