Inter are preparing a £38m (€44m) offer for West Ham United and France star Dimitri Payet, according to the Daily Mail.
The Nerazzurri are busy bolstering their squad after the takeover from Chinese giants Suning Commerce Group.
Today they confirmed the arrival of Ever Banega as a free agent from Sevilla on a three-year contract.
It’s rumoured in the English newspaper that Inter and Roberto Mancini are ready to splash the cash for Payet.
The free kick specialist has been a revelation in the Premier League this season and at Euro 2016.
It would be a real coup for Inter, because Payet has been linked with the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona.
The Nerazzurri would be able to offer regular first team football and a genuine Scudetto push in the near future.
Inter are limited by Financial Fair Play parameters, but are in the process of selling Davide Santon to Crystal Palace and Juan Jesus to either Watford or Roma.
