Villarreal defender Mateo Musacchio has agreed in principle to join Milan, according to reports.
The Rossoneri are on the hunt for a centre-back, as Cristian Zapata and Alessio Romagnoli are their only two reliable options.
According to Sky, Musacchio met with CEO Adriano Galliani in Ibiza on Saturday, and was presented with the Diavolo project.
The 25-year-old Argentine is thought to have agreed a deal, so now Milan must negotiate with his club.
The Submarino Amarillo are expected to ask for €25m for the defender, a fee which the Rossoneri would be willing to pay in order to reinforce the backline.
