Simone Inzaghi should be presented to the media on Saturday morning and Lazio announce they are suing Marcelo Bielsa for €50m.
The club announced there will be a Press conference at the Formello training ground on Saturday at 11.00 UK time (10.00 GMT).
Although there is no official confirmation yet, Inzaghi drove in to the Lazio HQ on Friday evening and told reporters he was “very happy.”
Sky Sport Italia claim Inzaghi put pen to paper on the new contract tonight after talks with director of sport Igli Tare.
The emergency move was made after Bielsa announced he would not be taking the job, despite Lazio depositing the signed contract with the Lega Serie A.
The Argentine tactician released a note claiming Lazio had broken their promises on the transfer market and failed to get any of the reinforcements requested.
At the same Press conference, it's reported President Claudio Lotito will announce he is going to sue Bielsa for €50m in damages.
Inzaghi was a former Lazio player and in charge of the youth team squad before he was promoted to the main job in April to replace sacked Stefano Pioli.
