Multiple reports indicate Roma playmaker Adem Ljajic has rejected a move to Torino.

The Serbian spent last season on loan with Inter, but the Nerazzurri decided not to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.

That meant a return to the Giallorossi, but the 24-year-old is not part of Coach Luciano Spalletti’s plans for the upcoming campaign.

It appeared that, after some hesitation, Ljajic was ready to accept an offer from the Granata, but Tuttosport, Sky and Gianluca Di Marzio’s website are all now reporting that the transfer is off.

According to Tuttosport, the main stumbling block was a disagreement over a buyout clause in the midfielder’s contract.

Ljajic is also thought to have turned down an initial offer from Celta Vigo, so that this stage his future is unclear.
