Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio confirmed yesterday that talks were underway for the Brazilian defender, who had been linked with the Lupi for some time.

Now Gianluca Di Marzio’s website is reporting that a deal has been done with the player, who could join the Giallorossi for their pre-season training camp at Pinzolo tomorrow.

It’s not yet clear what the structure of the transfer is, but it’s likely to be a loan with obligation to buy, with a total value of around €10m.

Jesus, predominantly a left-sided defender who is often deployed as centre-half, has been capped four times by his national side.
