Sampdoria have officially confirmed that midfielder Fernando has been sold to Spartak Moscow.
The Brazilian travelled to Russia at the weekend, and had his first training session with his new side today.
Now the Blucerchiati have officially confirmed his move to Spartak on a permanent transfer.
“UC Sampdoria announces that it has sold the player Fernando Lucas Martins outright to FK Spartak Moscow,” a statement on Samp’s official website reads.
The 24-year-old joined the Blucerchiati last summer in an €8m deal from Shakhtar Donetsk, making 35 Serie A appearances and scoring four goals.
Given that the deal with Spartak Moscow is thought to be worth around €12m, Sampdoria have made a quick profit on the Brazilian international.
