Sonny Wu is the main investor in the consortium attempting a Milan takeover, according to reports.
An as-yet unnamed group of investors is in advanced talks with current President Silvio Berlusconi to sell the club, with the latest reports suggesting they will take almost 100 per cent of the shares.
Now Bloomberg is reporting that Sonny Wu, head of the private equity firm GSR Capital is the main investor in the Chinese consortium.
Wu is said to value the Rossoneri at €750m including debt, and the deal would involve new sponsorship agreements.
His other business holdings include renewable energy and lighting, Bloomberg reports.
