Sampdoria have officially signed Filip Djuricic from Benfica, on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder is a full Serbia international with 24 caps and four goals to his name.
He generally plays in the trequartista role behind the strikers.
“U.C. Sampdoria reports that Serbian attacking midfielder Filip Djuricic – born in Obrenovac, Serbia on 30 January 1992 – has joined the club from Benfica on a loan deal that includes an option to buy,” read a statement.

Signed by Benfica in July 2013, he had spells at FSV Mainz, Southampton and Anderlecht.
