Reports suggest Roma have reached an agreement with Arsenal to bring Wojciech Szczesny back on loan.

The Polish goalkeeper spent last season with the Giallorossi, who were keen to have him again for the upcoming campaign.

However, the two clubs were struggling to come to an agreement, as the Gunners preferred a permanent transfer while the Lupi wanted another loan.

Now Tuttomercatoweb is reporting that a deal has been reached which will see Szczesny return on loan with a €16m buyout clause.

Now Tuttomercatoweb is reporting that a deal has been reached which will see Szczesny return on loan with a €16m buyout clause.

It’s not yet clear if that would be an option to buy, or a deal which becomes mandatory if certain targets are met.

Nevertheless, the website reports that the necessary documents are being exchanged between the two clubs, and Szczesny will soon complete his return to the Italian capital.
