Inter Coach Roberto Mancini has met with both Steven Zhang and Erick Thohir this afternoon as his future remains uncertain.
It has been rumoured all summer that the former Manchester City boss was on his way out of San Siro, with only a year remaining on his contract and a reported disagreement with the club’s hierarchy over transfer strategy.
Despite Mancini denying there is any tension between himself and his bosses, the 51-year-old today spoke with both Zhang and Thohir in New York in a bid to resolve differences.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, the tactician first met Zhang – son of new owner Zhang Jindong, before later seeing President Thohir.
According to the journalist, there will be a further meeting between all three men later this evening, with Mancini’s future potentially decided there and then.
