It is reported that Coach Roberto Mancini has been offered a new Inter contract until 2018.
According to Sky Sport 24, the Italian tactician has also been given reassurances by the club’s hierarchy that key players, such as Mauro Icardi, will not be sold.
This latest development comes after talks between Mancini, Steven Zhang and Erick Thohir took place in New York.
The former Manchester City manager has seen his future at San Siro become the subject of much speculation, following repeated rumours of a disagreement with his bosses over transfer policy.
The 51-year-old also only has one year remaining on his current Inter contract.
