Roberto Mancini’s future as Inter Coach will reportedly be determined one way or the other early next week.
The Nerazzurri tactician has held talks with the club’s hierarchy over recent days in an attempt to work through differences of opinion over transfer strategy. The 51-year-old also only has one year remaining on his contract at San Siro.
According to Calcio News 24, talks between Mancini, President Erick Thohir and owner Zhang Jindong’s son Steven progressed well on Thursday, with the latter two providing reassurances that a solution could be found.
However, the Coach is still waiting for a final decision on his future and the fact it has not yet arrived is said to be of concern.
Italian media say that all should become clear within 72 hours.
