An option being touted for the 25-year-old was a move to the Turkish champions but, in an interview published on Four Four Two, Gunes made clear he has absolutely no intention of bringing Balotelli in. This is despite comments from club President Fikret Orman that Besiktas were keen on securing the player’s services.
“Balotelli is not part of my plans,” the tactician confirmed. “I don’t have a favourable opinion of him.
“I have never heard anything positive about him.”
