Antonio Candreva will land in Milan for his Inter medicals today, ahead of signing an official contract.

The Lazio winger was the object of transfer talks that went on for almost two months between the two clubs. The Nerazzurri were keen on finding a deal, but their offer of €18m came short of president Claudio Lotito's request for €25m.

Eventually the two parties found some common ground, as the northern club will be paying €22m plus €3m in bonuses relative to the Champions League.

Candreva is expected to fly in to Milan this morning, where he will undergo his medicals with the Biscione. At the end of that procedure he will sign his official contract.

The 29-year-old is still recovering from an injury picked up during Euro 2016 and will initially be training separately from the rest of the team.
