Roma have confirmed that goalkeeper Wojiech Szczesny has returned for a second season on loan at the club.
The Arsenal shot-stopper had a successful temporary stint with the Giallorossi last term, helping the Stadio Olimpico side to third place in Serie A.
Now, having passed a medical and finalised his move, he will again link up with Luciano Spalletti’s team as they look to secure Champions League qualification and narrow the gap to Juventus.
“The club announces it has finalised a deal with Arsenal, until 30 June 2017, for the sporting loan of the Polish goalkeeper,” a statement on Roma’s official website reads.
"I'm very happy," added Szczesny upon the completion of the deal. "After a good season I had the chance to come back and I am happy that the Coach wanted me."
