Norway international Haitam Aleesami found the Palermo “project convincing” and is impressed by Coach Davide Ballardini.
The 25-year-old left-back completed his transfer from IFK Goteborg this week and was presented to the media.
“The contact between the clubs started a week before the official transfer,” Aleesami told reporters.
“Palermo have a strong name in Serie A and I had the opportunity to discuss the situation with director of sport Faggiano, so it all seems perfect to me.

“I am a left-back who likes to attack down the flank, but the important thing is to defend. I will always give 100 per cent.
“I had a very good first impression of Coach Ballardini, as we got off to a great start. His system makes me push forward a lot and I really like that.
“I found the Palermo project overall convincing. This is the right club for me.”
