Chievo have reportedly beaten Liverpool to a deal for Anderlecht midfielder Samuel Bastien.
The 19-year-old already spent last season in Italy on loan at Serie B outfit Avellino.
According to Calciomercato.it, Chievo emerged with the winning bid despite Liverpool interest in the youngster.
It’s believed he has already undergone a medical with Chievo doctors and will sign the paperwork on Tuesday.
This will be a permanent transfer, as Bastien’s contract with Anderlecht is due to expire in June 2017.
