Juve go for Matuidi and Cuadrado

Juventus have made a €20m offer to Paris Saint-Germain for Blaise Matuidi and await the all-clear from Chelsea on Juan Cuadrado.

According to Sky Sport Italia pundit Gianluca Di Marzio this evening, the Bianconeri continue to pressure their first choice options for the midfield.

Matuidi remains the favourite and is eager for the transfer, as he is not getting regular starts at PSG under Unai Emery.

Juve are offering a four-year contract to the France international and an initial €20m bid to the club.

The Turin giants are also continuing negotiations with Chelsea for the return of Cuadrado, who already spent last season in Serie A.

The idea remains to take him on loan for €3-4m, without an option to buy.

There was another meeting with Chelsea and Juve are awaiting a response.
