Balotelli looks for home in Rome

Rumours of a Mario Balotelli move to Lazio pick up pace as the player is allegedly looking for a house near Rome.

Though the Biancocelesti had been linked somewhat vaguely to the striker since before the summer, reports emerged yesterday that Super Mario might really join their squad.

Now Il Messaggero adds another detail as they reveal that Balotelli is looking for a house in Olgiata, in the outskirts of Rome.

In the meantime, Lazio's directors are attempting to persuade Liverpool to cover a substantial part of the player's salary.

Balotelli currently earns €6m per season. The capitoline club are willing to pay one third of that, with the remainder covered by the Reds. They are also asking for 50 per cent of the player's image rights.
