According to O Jogo, the Joao Mario saga could be over today with Sporting CP announcing his transfer to Inter.
There have been weeks of fraught negotiations around the 23-year-old right-sided winger.
Inter made a series of proposals and it’s believed in the end it will cost €45m plus bonuses.
It should be spread out as a loan costing €10m with obligation to buy at the end of the season.
Joao Mario was not included in the Sporting squad for this weekend’s game with Pacos Ferreira, for reasons the club did not confirm.
This is seen as the signal a deal is done and Joao Mario could fly out for his medical this weekend.
A five-year contract awaits the Portugal international and Euro 2016 winner.
