Milan may succeed in closing a deal today for Paris Saint-Germain's Benjamin Stambouli.
It's been an exhausting search for a midfielder for the Rossoneri, as they struggled with the limited preliminary budget offered by the Chinese owners and the reluctance of other teams to sell their players.
According to SportMediaset, they've finally reached their objective as they are about to sign Stambouli from PSG.
The defensive midfielder will join Milan on a loan deal, and will give Riccardo Montolivo some breathing time.
Earlier reports suggested he had been offered to the Italians and turned down, but with time running out, there may have been a change of heart.
