Giuseppe Rossi has officially left Fiorentina for a return to Spain with Celta Vigo, pending a medical.
The former Villarreal striker spent the last six months on loan at Levante and found no place in Paulo Sousa’s squad.
As the Viola had confirmed earlier today, Rossi has agreed terms with Celta Vigo and the transfer will be completed after a medical.
The 29-year-old Italy international born in New Jersey was in the final year of his contract with Fiorentina.
It’s reported he is moving on loan with an option to add another year to his Celta contract in 2017-18.
