Santos are reportedly suing Barcelona for damages after Gabriel Barbosa – known as Gabigol – signed for Inter.
When Barcelona took Neymar in 2013, the deal included an option to buy Gabigol.
According to Brazilian paper Globo Esporte, Santos maintain they informed Barcelona of the Inter move last month and were given the all-clear to proceed.
However, the Blaugrana claim the document sent over was not detailed enough and they did not allow the transfer to go through.
