Speaking at the Press conference ahead of his team’s third game of the new season, the former Italy Coach praised the Rossoblu’s opponents but stressed his side must improve from their last showing.

“Cagliari had a great season and they were already a solid team last year,” Donadoni said.

“This season they have strengthened with players like Borrielo, Padoin, Isla.

“A team like Cagliari has an important structure, effective forwards and determined players.

“They are a team who deserve respect, but we want and must make up for a negative performance against Torino.”
