“We just have to play our game and do our part,” Aquilani told Mediaset Premium.
Pescara started the season by taking an early 2-0 lead against Napoli here, but were pegged back by a Dries Mertens brace.
The 32-year-old arrived on deadline day from Sporting CP and will immediately come face to face with former teammate Joao Mario.
“It’s nice to see Joao Mario again so soon. I have a good rapport with him and consider him an important player.”
