Juventus have announced record turnover figures for the 2015-16 financial year and an improvement in profits.

According to a statement released by Juve’s board of directors on Friday, the club achieved unparalleled revenues of €387.9m in the financial year that ended on June 30 2016, plus €4.1m in operating profit – €1.8m higher than the previous period.

“The 2015-16 financial year confirmed the improving trend seen in recent years; for the second consecutive year, the board ended with a balance-sheet profit,” read a summary on the Bianconeri’s official website.

“The board of directors has approved the draft budget for the financial year that ended on June 30, 2016, showing a profit of €4.1m, which will be allocated to [the club’s] reserves.

“The Ordinary Shareholders’ Assembly will be held on October 25 2016 at 10:00 [CET], in a single meeting at Juventus Stadium.”
