Udinese have officially sacked Coach Beppe Iachini following a 3-0 defeat to Lazio.
The Friulani were jeered off the field at the final whistle of last night’s Serie A game, their third loss of the last four rounds.
“Udinese Calcio announce that Giuseppe Iachini has been removed from the position of Coach of the first team,” read a statement.
“In thanking Iachini for the work done so far, Udinese Calcio wish him all the best for his future professional endeavours.”
The 52-year-old had only taken over this summer, but failed to turn around the poor form that already dogged them last season.
Potential replacements are Edy Reja, Eugenio Corini and Andrea Mandorlini, according to Sky Sport Italia.
