Udinese have officially confirmed that Luigi Del Neri will be Beppe Iachini’s replacement on the bench.
The Zebrette fired Iachini on Sunday after a poor start to the season, and the former Juventus Coach immediately emerged as favourite for the job.
“Udinese Calcio announce they have entrusted Luigi Del Neri with the first team,” a statement on Udinese’s official website read.

“The Friulian Coach has signed a one-year contract, with the option for a second, and will be unveiled at a Press conference on Tuesday at 12:00 CET (11:00 BST), live on Udinese TV.”
Del Neri’s last post was at Verona, but he was unable to prevent the Butei from slipping into Serie B.
